We are pleased to announce that the Park will be re-open from 17th July.
We are only taking on-line bookings at the minute as we are currently working through a backlog of e-mails – if you are still waiting for a refund – please bear with us.
The office will be open from Saturday 13th July for phone bookings and enquiries.
At the present time we are unable to offer our leisure facilities – i.e. pools, gym and games room, so these will remain closed until we receive further guidance from the government. Please also be aware that the toilet and shower blocks will be closed overnight for cleaning purposes.
The shop will be open as usual but with safety guidelines in place.
We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Park.
Post-lockdown camping could be a quite different experience for many of us this year.
Although many campsites in England will finally begin to reopen on 4th July, we have decided to postpone our reopening date until 17th July 2020.
Some campsites are choosing to keep facilities including showers and toilets closed, we will be opening the blocks daily 8am – 7pm for toilet and sink areas only, our showers will remain closed until we are advised otherwise.
As our facility blocks are open there will be 2 deep cleans a day and then hourly checks/cleans and there will be guidance on how many people the block can accommodate at one time.
While the facility blocks are open, we would ask that if people are able to use their own facilities in their units as much as possible – this will help us manage demand and queuing.
There will be signs and floor markings as a common-sense reminder to keep 2 metres from other people.
Campers will also be able to pitch their own toilet tent on their allocated pitch.
Contactless check in
When campers arrive on site, they can remain inside their vehicle and a member of our site staff will welcome to site, provide them with a welcome pack and then them show them to their allocated pitch.
Sensible social distancing
Our pitches have six-metre spacing and we will reduce the number of people on Sites with facility blocks so we can manage demand.
We are only allowing individual bookings and with well-managed sites we can prevent large groups assembling
Campers will not be able to have any day visitors to their pitches – this will help us limit the number of people on sites.
Whilst our washing up areas will remain open, communal areas such as swimming pools, gym, games room, information centre and play areas will remain closed for the time being. Campers need to ensure they bring all their essentials with them
Service points will be open – please follow hand washing guidance; whilst we will have this available on sites, we would ask campers to also bring with them their own supplies of soap and hand sanitiser.
For any of guests they may find this difficult to work around, please contact asap and we will do our best to offer alternatives.
