Questions we are frequently asked

Do you allow Gazebos ?2024-12-06T12:30:20+00:00

Unfortunately we do not allow gazebos on the park.

Do you have fridge/freezer facilities for campers?2024-12-06T12:06:03+00:00

Yes we have 2 Fridge Freezers plus a microwave that can be used by campers.

These can be found by the washing up area by the shower block.

Do you allow Firepits ?2024-12-06T11:24:27+00:00

No Firepits are not allowed.

The lighting of fires, firepits, chimneas, woodburners, Chinese Lanterns etc is strictly prohibited.

Do you allow BBQ’S ?2024-12-06T11:19:22+00:00

Yes you can bring a BBQ.

All BBQ’S (charcoal or gas only)must be raised off the ground (blocks are available for use with disposable BBQ’S) and must be fully extinguished after cooking (no later than 10pm).

Can I get a supermarket delivery ?2024-12-06T11:14:28+00:00

Yes you can arrange a supermarket delivery.

We ask that you meet the driver in our main car park. Delivery vehicles must not enter the site.

Can I book a specific pitch?2024-12-06T10:22:18+00:00

Requests for specific pitches are subject to availability.

Every attempt will be made to allocate guests to the pitch of their choice but this cannot be guaranteed.

What are the arrival and departure times?2024-11-12T14:51:09+00:00

Pitches are ready by 1pm and we ask that you do not arrive before this time unless agreed in advance.

Please advise us if you are likely to arrive later than 7:30pm. The latest check-in time is 7:30pm (Tents 6.30pm) you will not be permitted on the park after this time and we suggest that you make alternative accommodation arrangements and you will be able to check-in from 9am the next day).

We ask that no tents or awnings are erected after 6.30pm.

Pitches must be vacated no later than 11am on the day of your departure.

What’s the difference between fully serviced pitches and serviced pitches ?2024-11-12T14:32:04+00:00

Fully serviced pitches have 16 amp electric with water and grey waste drainage included.

Serviced pitches  have 10-amp electricity points.

Where Is the nearest bus stop?2024-11-12T14:34:06+00:00

There are bus stops at the entrance of the park on both sides of the road. You can catch a bus to Oxford, Witney and Abingdon.

How far away is Oxford?2024-11-12T14:36:03+00:00

We are approximately 10 miles (16 km) away from Oxford.

Parking in Oxford is expensive so we recommend either getting the bus from Standlake to Oxford or by driving and parking at Redbridge Park and Ride (which also caters for motorhomes) rather than driving into Oxford itself.

Unfortunately we do not offer seasonal pitches.

Are you dog-friendly?2024-11-12T14:38:10+00:00

Yes we are a dog-friendly park and we accept a maximum of three well behaved dogs –  we ask that dogs are kept on a lead whilst on the park and not left unattended.
