Halloween at the Park

This year we held a week full of Halloween activities and a finished with a party to celebrate the end of our year.

Our younger guests had a busy week taking part in  workshops every day including  making and eating,  Halloween biscuits, and Ghost lollies. The children also made Spider pom poms, Halloween jars and lolly stick webs.

Our scavenger hunt and competitions helped to make this an eventful week. What an incredible effort was made by Adults and children alike to dress up.

The week was finished off with a big party – campers, residents and villagers all came along to enjoy live music and hot food. The Haystacks came and played  live music and everyone danced the night away. We were lucky not to have much rain at the party apart from the odd shower. The party ended with a spectacular fireworks display.

All in all a brilliant end to the season, hard work , but definitely worth it. Will we do it again next year? – watch this space….
